New version of SMS Passcode released

A NEW version of SMS PASSCODE® has been released today with several feature enhancements and issue resolutions.

Version 6.0 SP1 has the following improvements:

ISA/TMG Web Site Protection
The ISA/TMG Web Site Protection component has been enhanced to support "authentication on demand". Previously, this component required that the web publishing rule was set to be applied to "All Authenticated Users", causing form-based two-factor authentication to occur immediately for any access to the published web site.

In addition, the web publishing rule can now be applied to "All Users", thereby delaying authentication until the published web site requests HTTP authentication.

Also new in SP1 is support in the ISA/TMG Web Site Protection component for the "password change" feature of the ISA/TMG server. I.e. the users are allowed to manually request a change of their password after a successful SMS PASSCODE two-factor authentication.

Citrix Web Interface protection
Support for the Citrix Web Interface version 5.4.2 has been added to the Citrix Web Interface protection component.

Issue resolutions
A number of issue resolutions have been implemented including resolving Web Service SMS delivery issues when containing "&" characters. Enablement of load balancing policy removal. Automatic update of welcome e-mail template during upgrades. Maintenance of secondary mobile phone number in self service portal. Expanded consolidated log that now also includes CHAP / MS-CHAP information. Resolving configuration preservation issues during upgrade. Support for individual removal of policies in IAS/NPS without impacting others. And finally the addition of Norwegian language to the self service portal.
